Ive been trying to find a piece of 4" OD pipe to make the 6637 mod for my 2000 7.3 but i am having a hard time i was wanting to use something like stainless or PVC so that it wouldn't rust but all i have found so far is metal ill definitely want to coat with something before i even think about installing. any suggestions?????
The intake doesn't exactly see a lot of moisture so a good primer and paint will work fine for steel. A trip to the hardware store and you can pick up a 3" PVC coupler which has a 4" O.D. will also work for the 6637 with no fear of rust.
i picked up a coupling but it wasnt a tight fit like i was looking to get on the filter side so i may have to use the pipe i have... does anyone know what clay uses with his kit and if he sells just the hardware???
hey mark, i have a truck that's pretty close to yours and i was wondering do you or have you heard of anyone having trouble with their fronting drive shaft rattling??? i had to change a few front end parts when i got this truck but i noticed a rattle so i got under there and the only thing i can find is the slip joint on the front drive shaft so i bungee corded it to the frame and went down a bumpy road and it changed it. Ive been meaning to take it completely out to pinpoint it but haven't gotten around to it.

If you need just the adapter I am happy to help you out. Drop me a PM.
