Towing w/Expedition

I hear you as I am a little tight with ole George myself, however a decent after marked reciver can be had for less then $65 @ most any auto supply store.

hmmmm. do you need overdrive off on all towing applications? the reason i'm asking is because we have a work truck that is an expedition which isn't taken care of very well, sadly. the overdrive won't dis-engage. i'll be taking a 1300 mile road trip to oklahoma city, from Virginia with a under 1000 lb trailer and want to make sure i won't be stuck on the side of the road. i'm going to be giving it the once-over before we head off, including an oil change... thanks for the help!



i need a tow vehicle...

Unless it is constanly shifting in and out of o/d you will have no problems.
