transmission problems

I have a 2006 f350 with the 5.4 gas engine.It has 84,000 miles.I have plowed snow with this truck commercially every winter since i bought it new.A couple days ago while i was driving i noticed it seems to be slipping,but just for maybe a half of a second but it will do it maybe 3 or 5 times in one mile.It doesnt do it everytime i drive it though.Does this mean my tranny is on its way to the graveyard,or is there something i can do now to prevent further problems?

no,i've never done anything to it.

One, I take for granted it is an automatic, 5R100 in a 2006 I believe. Good transmission from what I hear. I would get it serviced from a reputable shop and see what happens.
