My Intro...
Hello all, I am Brian and I live in ft. Worth, Texas. I recently bought a 1986 F150 XLT 2wd for $900. It has a 5.0L with about 158,000 mile and the AOD transmission. Here a few pics...
The good: No rust hole whatsoever, only minor surface rust and only a few small dings. All glass is goods with no cracks. The engine purrs and doesn't seem to use any oil. The truck is bone stock and unmolested!
The bad: Dash pad is horrible. Turn signals don't cancel. Front tank reads empty on gauge. Interior is fair. Tailgate is stuck. Cruise and horn don't work. Missing two center caps. Missing the "ORD" on tailgate emblems and the "XLT" emblems from sides of cab.
All in all, I feel I got a pretty decent deal, especially since body is in awesome shape...
