NO START
BO,UGHT 02, 7.3 IN OCT,PUT 2 NEW INTERSTATE BATTERIES, 3 WEEKS AGO FILLED UP TRIED TO START, NOTHING, JIGGLED KEY,RAN SHIFTER BACK AND FORTH,IT STARTED. WENT TO FORD DEALER, THEY CHECKED EVERYTHIN,NO CODES NOTHING. WENT TO MANDEVILLE LA TO BRING BACK GRANDKIDS,PARKED IN FRONT OF HOME WHEN I GOT BACK,YESTERDAY WENT TO MOVE IT ,NOTHING,TEMP 39 NOT COLD ENOUGH TO CAUSE THIS,I HAVE 5W/40 DELVAC SYN. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS? TBRADSIM

From your first post, it sounds like the switch for the gear selector is out of position. If you are able to move it around some and it will start then I would start there. Instead of moving it alot, try just tapping it back and forth a little while turning the key.

It sounds like your shifter handle is loose. My 2001 7.3 X did the same thing about a month ago. There are two gold colored #25 star drive screws that need to be tightened. To get to them pull fuze cover, lay on your back in driver floorboard and look for shifter handle. You will need a flashlight and it helps if you have someone wiggle swifter handle. Good luck!!!
