I am in the middle of removing my injectors on a 96' F-250 and now I can not get the back right one out. Do you have to remove the a/c box thing?? how easy does it come off?? how do you get it off??? I don' want to break anything.
Can you not just remove the vacuum box on the side of it? It's got two screws is all. I've read in shop manuals where on some of them you have to remove the inboard side of the heater box but never seen one yet. My 94 was supposed to have that style and it didn't. Neither does my 97. I just have to take off the little canister on the side. Pull the silver insulation back and see.
I'll third that with the vaccum box. Make sure you are careful when pulling back the heat shield/foil stuff as it doesn't seem to want to stay in there when you put it all back together.
I believe the '94's were glued on there maybe some '95's not sure.
I know me a Talyn went round and round on this. The we found out his is glued on there and mine was screwed.
Mine is glued on so I just unscrewed the cover off which is only 6 screws. Quite easy actually which then opened that whole corner up. I just kept the vacuum line attached and rolled the cover out of the way.
