So i was talking to Clay the other day and he said to gain an inch or two i can look into getting bigger rear blocks. So i got under there today to see what he was talking about. In the picture i was wondering if the red arrow is pointing to the correct "block". If so that block only measures about 1 1/2 inches. Hows much bigger can i go with a new rear block.
Nope the arrow is not pointing to the block in question. That is a spacer for the overload. Probably the reason you cannot find it is because you dont have any on yours. The block would be between the perch where the brake line bolts and the bottom thick leaf.

Hey Matt, not to sure on the dualies but to gain any hight it would be under the springs. Wonder if thats called a support spacer?? I got some F-350 blocks that are going on mine compliments of Kris-powerstrokejunkie, thanks again Kris. Do they make bigger blocks for the rears on dualies?
I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to add some blocks to gain some height. I think the fact that you are 2wd is the reason why it didn't come from the factory with them. But if you aren't the original owner, it's possible that they were removed along the way. I swapped my blocks out for a set from a srw F350. If there is an offroad shop or truck shop that does a lot of lifts near you, go by and see if they have done a lift on an F250 or F350 recently and removed the stock blocks. I got my set for free that way.
Depending on how much you want to gain, I probably still have my F250 blocks lying around somewhere. I think they are about 2" tall. If I can find them and they will work for you, I can box them up and ship them to NJ. You probably need to make sure that there isn't any reason why running the F250 blocks would be a problem though, because I don't know for sure about duallies. The only thing you would need to get then are some longer U-bolts.
I will let you know if I can find them in the next day or two. I'm going to be working late the next couple of nights, but I will try to get out to the shop to check.
