The last I heard the 2010 model year SD had balanced out as of a couple of weeks ago. This means that all orders they plan on building should be VIN'ed and have atleast a scheduled build week at this point.
It should also be noted that the last word I had was that orders with a manual transmission needed to be transmitted to Ford by 11/05/09 to even have a chance of being built. I would be asking the dealer for a copy of the DORA to confirm that the order was atleast accepted into the system and not kicked back as unbuildable. Granted, being it is/was so late in the model year it is not all that uncommon for Ford to accept the orders, schedule what they can and bounce any leftovers back as unbuildable upon balance out...
thanks guys i will try to get a hold of dealer but thtat has been problem too.man i hope they accepted the order ortherwise i will pe peeved to no end because i have been lied to for so long.cause they told me it would be no problem to get a manual still.time will tell
when do they stop building the 2010's and start the 11's?
The last word I had (from the beginning of December) is they would return from holiday shutdown (today) and continue to build 2010's until 02/05/10. They would then be down the week of 02/08/10 and 2011 Job 1 would commence on 02/15/10. However, I saw a recent post that stated 2011 Job 1 was 01/18/10, but everyone I have inquired with said it is likely a typo in the document that it came from. Anything is possible though...
I did appear that as of the second week of December they still had around 42,000 Super Duties and around 10,000 Expeditions/Navigators in the order bank that were scheduled to be built...

As for the manual transmission... As stated above, once they are done building the 2010's there will be no more.
If you would... Use the link below and provide me with a email address that I can contact you at. I would PM you, but your post count is still too low. Anyway, I would like to get some additional info from you...

Just a question why do you want the manual tranny?
The resale will be bad and wont it need work sooner??
The 2nd thing is I would change the dealer when ever I order new trucks for the company we have a vin number with in 2 weeks.. I think you got jerked around...
