Never change tunes while "under load" - I take my foot off the throttle, give it a moment to unload the engine/drivetrain, then change it. Without unloading the engine you risk breaking something... BAD. Like your wallet. (This is true for all chips)
thanks for the responce. from the way you explane you let off the go pedal then change tune if need be. i did it once but not toeing or hard on the go pedal. just wanted to on the safe side.

I don'y worry too much about how fast or slow I'm going but I ALWAYS make sure I'm off the go pedal for a few seconds first, change tunes, then go again.

What Pete and Brendan said. It doesn't matter how fast you are going, just unload wait for the tune to change (with the DP wait for the little dot to go off) then you are good to go.
