e4od tranny problems!!!!!!!
i have a 93 f250 naturally aspirited diesel.i have had trouble with the tranny. at first the overdrive button burnt up, i replaced that. a few miles later had more problems it would shift hard and couldnt decide what gear to be in. so i put a used tranny in it. at first the range sensor was bad i replaced that. then i had problems again! the overdrive button would flash the truck would rev up a lil bit and in between shifting gears it would rev up. the ford dealer told me that they hooked the computer to it and the problem was a speed sensor that was either the one in the cluster or the one that goes to the computer. i replaced the cluster but now when it gets cold it does the same thing. is it the speed sensor that goes to the ecm? if anybody knows what could be wrong please tell me i am fed up!

You've posted you plea for help in the 99-present Super Duty forum. While we have some very great and helpful members here, I would have to say that this area probably isn't the best area to post questions about an E4OD. You may want to try the 1986-1996 F-150 and larger F series forum.
