glow plug controler
Hey I think my glow plug controler is bad my truck is all of a suden not starting good and I checked all of my newly replaced gps and all were good but I relized that I do not hear the controler click any more after the wts light goes out, this happend the same time it started to cold starting.what are my best options?

it might not be grounding properly.what year is your truck?if its 87 or up it should be the new style controller if i remember correctly you can run another ground wire for the one on the controller(the one thats in between the controller and the valve cover)and run another wire to the battery ground from there.if not you can wire in a push button which i just did last week

Some of the new style systems don't do as much after glow as others, for what reason I am not sure.
I would wonder if the relay contacts are getting pitted to the point they are not making good contact.
DO the dash lights dim when the glow plugs are heating?
If you have a volt meter, how much does it drop while they heat?
