Can I talk about freestars here? I have a 2004 freestar that with a 3.9 liter engine that cuts out frequently. I can hear a slight chirping noise from the engine compartment as well. Also sometimes the radio clock and presets are all reset, like when the battery gets disconnected, upon startup, and sometimes the radio is on when entrering the van without the keys in the ignition. Could this be an alternator isssue? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Check battery connections.. Any water leaking in around the windshield..?
