Question quick questions

i hear every one saying that there is a filter screen that needs to be cleaned on the fuel canister i think? where is it? i think someone said its an air vent for the return line? does that make any sense? also where is the idm? been thinking about having mine moded, i wouldnt do the soldering myself but would do the rest and just dont know where to find it. and also dont know much about elec. parts so if anyone that ordered the good resistors from digikey had an extra and wanted to sell id like to buy one. just afraid to order it myself and get the wrong one. thanks guys any help would be awesome!

tjbeggs has some pics of where its located but here's a brief description i guess...
its on the right hand side of the fuel canister (which sits atop the engine in the valley)... it doesn't really look like much, kinda like a little fitting, if you open it up you'll see a tiny little screen and when you take it out make sure you're ready to catch it!! easy to drop it...
and also make sure the o-ring on that fitting doesn't come out... ours did on one of our 3 7.3s and it swelled up almost instantly and we had to get a new one.. and it wasn't a cheap o-ring since it came in a kit...
oh and sorry i didn't quite read your entire post lol i'll try to find TJ's pictures if i can real fast.. it'll point out pretty much everything in the engine bay
and the resistors... any 10k or 15k or whatever resistor will work.. just put it in line with the IDM (if i remember correctly... i may be screwing up my initials lol)

The screen is between the bowl and the regulator

it should look like this

not like this

undo the bolts holding the regulator to the bowl. Separate them carefully. There will be just enough room to remove/replace the screen without having to undo anything else.
