Parts needed

Am looking for a set of factory splash guards for a '52 F-1 . Most I have come across are so bent out of shape or are rusted beyond recognition .
Also a buddy in N.J. need 2 -4 & 1/2 x 16 stock wheels for his project . Need to be straight and relatively free of rust .Thanks ,Denny

I sold a set a while ago, can't remember if they were 51 or 52 though? I have another set or two but can't remember if they are 51 or 52? I thought they are interchangeable just had slight difference on the mounting area's??

maybe one set is for a larger F series truck? Also seems like the 52's had a larger tab surface mounting area vs the 51's?
I'll try to see what I have later this evening.

maybe we could trade for some Magic Air heater boots? I need 2

Josh

splash panels

Was advised by 51panelman that '51 & '52 are diffrenet .Will try to attach photo .This is 48-51.

This is 52.

Note the difference between the two pictured (on the left side).

I already have a set on my 52. Just need to make sure that it's the correct set like above. I also need to check to see if my 51 has one and is also correct. I know that I should have at least one (or two) sets, but don't remember whether it's a 48-51 or 52 or both.

The problem is, is that my parts are all over the place. Are you in a hurry for these? I could start looking tomorrow in a few places. <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

We had quite a discussion about the difference between those types a long time ago, a search might uncover the thread. As I recall, there was more to it than just 51 vs 52. Panel vs. pickup? 6 vs 8? My memory fails me.

So far I have only found the one like the first picture 51.
I should have another set like the lower picture, the 52, but will need to dig deeper in the mess out there.
I've been working in the basement doing drywall, painting, and other finish stuff from when my neighbors flooded us this spring. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, then I can get back to work on my trucks; yeeha.

Denny, Ilya may have a pair from his latest find. If he doesn't jump on, you may want to write him a PM.

Nope. Don't have any on that truck.

I'd like to know what the outcome was. I have the same set as pictured on my Panel truck and pulled the pictured set from a 52 F6, but forget whether it was a 6 or an 8 cyl.

Maybe we can iron this out after the Magic Air issue.
