Dash swap
My Dad has a 2003 F350 dully with a 6.0l Diesel. He wants the fuel ml, compass, trip etc screen on his dash like my 05 f150 lariat. Was this available for his year and style and if so where can he obtain this and what does he have to do for this install? Thanks

I know on the '04 Lariats "lie-o-meter" is in a console above rear view mirror. I don't know about other years/trim levels. Going off the top of my head a '05 F550 XLT there is a an information display in the gauge cluster...but it's been almost two years since I've sat in that truck; so the memory could be a little off. Welcome to FTE by the way.

The question is:
Is this option offered on the diesel at all?
Whether the Part Number for the Console and Harness that is presently in car are identical to the one you intend to put in.
If they are not identical, be prepared to spend a lot of time cutting and splicing wire, if it can be made to work at all.
