I figured out a way to block those annoying Bing pop up ads. When you get a bing pop up(also called in text advertising) click on the question mark and it allows you to disable them until your cookies are cleared.
But then I got to thinking, I have been a member of this site since 2005, and have garnered a metric poop ton of info from the fine folks here, so why not join up?
So I opted for the three year membership. I must say its way better with a membership,there are no ads at all!

Pretty much everyone here is genuine, and it's a great site. I just don't think I need to support IB. They make enough money and this site is not going anywhere. You won't catch me advocating supporter status like I did when it was privately owned. That, and some things that have happened since transfer from private ownership, and here I am, riding my 3 year status out.

Mike, I agree with you 100%
Its the membership that makes this site great, not the people behind the scenes. If they really wanted to make it great, they would get rid of the ridiculous ads all over the place that tend to hamper the navigation here and bog the site down. That IS the reason I don't visit the diesel stop.. They ran off many of the helpful members so now you'll see a question posted and it will go without any responses for days!
These sites need to realize this and stop with the ads.
