need serious help
My truck was out of gas well almost so i dumped some gas in and changed the oil now she starts really bad and jumps all over the place the rpms drop to zero so i rev it up and smoke is poring out of the exhaust.

So you have two different events. One is putting gas in the second was changing the oil. Which one did it start running poorly after. Is it posible that you knocked something loose under the hood when changing oil?

I was under the car draining her and filing her up she ran fine for a couple of days then i added gas and she is messing up. i drained a small amount of oil out because it was a little over full and she runs okay but not that great still any ideas i want her fixed. She is a 1989 ford f150 xlt lariat 2wd with a aod thats shot and a 5.0l

single tank and double tanks? If double how does it run on the other tank?
Could be a clogged up sock in the tank, Your fuel pump could be going bad.
Try to pull codes, check pressure on the rail and see if its low or not.
