Coolant leak
</NOBR> 4x4 with the 302ci V8, i have a coolant leak, and i think its the freeze plugs, or the head. I tried heavy duty stop leak in my radiator but that obviously didnt cut it considering theres still a coolant puddle left where ever i park a week after i put the stop leak in. Anyone have an idea of how much it would cost to get the freeze plugs fixed, or the heads fixed, depending on whichever is leaking once i find out what it is. <!-- / message --><!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_sig --><!-- END TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_sig -->

Freeze plugs are cheap. Pound them out with a screwdriver, pound them in with a big socket. The problem is getting to them.
You need to crawl under there with a torch and find out exactly where the leak is coming from.
