Hi Diesel Guru's.
I was told to post this question here so I will do so. I am in a bind and I need to know what tool is needed to remove the "Idle Pulley" from my 93 F350? It is a right hand thread is it not? Any info would be very much appreciated
welcome to FTE and the pre-powerstroke forum.
if i remember correctly when i did mine it was a torx bit not %100 though and am not sure if its right handed or not.
Thanks Guru's for your help here. I used the torx 50 and she came out just fine. What I have found out in looking for the part is, do I need an outer lip on the "Idler Pulley". The one that blew almost looks like a pulley for a "V belt". Grant you it is very damaged.
I think that I can get away without it for that is what was on it from the factory according to the Ford people when they look up my vin number.
