79 F-350 again....
Thanks for your replies to my posts before, a little update, will probably bye within 1 year or so, as the boss is thinking of buying a brand new truck to replace it. As of today, me and another guy are working on it, fixing up some odds and ends, parting out a 79 F-150 I-6 with a blown clutch, but good body and other mechanicals. We tried diagnosing the electrical drain again this afternoon, and we are really stuck now. We unhooked the positive lead off of the battery, and the negative (which runs to the block) When we put the leads of the multitester on the ground wire, and then to the battery we read a flow of current and voltage, but there is nothing hooked at all to the positve post, It's thrown us for a loop, only idea we had was that maybe there was something wrong in the battery, plate cracked maybe??? Any ideas would be appreciated.

jl, If I read your post right, you best leave the truck alone, till it's yours. You are using words like maybe & thinking about. You get that truck running for the boss and it only will delay his decesion to replace it. Get the title in your name and work on it all you want.
