My friend bought a Lincoln with a 460 and put the motor in his truck. The car has a good C6, and I could get it from him for nothin. My question is, what engines will this transmision bolt to?

Tht trans. will bolt up to any M series (351-400), and any 429-460 engine block.

It wont bolt to an FE? I was hoping it would.

The FE blocks have a bell housing bolt pattern all their own

Is there a way to change the bellhousing on a C6?

The c6 trans is 1 piece with the bell housing, they cant be changed. You will have to find a c6 with the FE bolt pattern. I wish they were the same so I could replace my 351M with a 390 HiPo that is just sitting in the barn. Sorry.
