New to FTE!!
Hello everyone,
My name is Rod and I recently moved to Quitman from Gaithersburg, Maryland. I was referred to your site by BIGFOOT2364 of the MARYLAND chapter. I am a huge fan of Ford trucks, especially the 1973-1979. I am a proud owner of 79 F150 4x4 300 CID 4.9L. I have uploaded several pics of my truck in the "Album" section for everyone to check out. I am looking forward to sharing and gaining some great Ford knowledge. Also looking forward to meeting you all at the G2G/Meets!

Thanks for the welcome, Big Foot.
Rolled into town driving the Volvo. Was treated like a stranger. Bought the Old Ford from one of the locals and now it's high fives and waves everywhere. What a difference a truck and refrigerator full of beer makes...
Would like to be back up that way this spring for Carlisle.

Thanks for the welcome 3golfjack. The 79 is mechanically sound; however, needs some Mary Kay attention. Just another project added to my long list. Keeps me out of trouble.

SITE ROOKIE
Thanks, BarryMc for your stamp of approval.
I have navigated around on the site for the past two days and to have the honor of joining the Mississippi Chapter, the trip was well worth it.
Can't wait till the T-shirts go on the market. They are awesome.
Forever thankful to BigFoot2364 from the Maryland Chapter for telling me about you guys.
Moved from Maryland to get away from the snow and cold weather, but after the last couple of weeks, may have to move even further south.

Don't let that 4 day freeze fool you, It's been like 20 years or so since we had anything like that, just wait until the humidity gets you this summer, haha, it's brutal, I hope you work indoors.
The t-shirt has been in the works for 7 or 8 months or so, I don't know if will ever get done!

Bigfoot, you would love it down here. Seems to be a monopoly on Ford trucks. Met a guy a few days ago who owns a fully restored 1940 Ford pickup, pale yellow. No hawg haulin in that truck - bed is highly varnished solid wood.
Gotta get the word out to them about www.ford-trucks.com.
BTW, adult beverages are banned in this county, but the juice store is only 14 miles away.
