Blowing steering hoses
Dads 06 F250 4x4 keeps blowing the return line from the steering box to the cooler.
Has blown the line for 5 times now.
I have removed the cooler for now.
Will see how this holds up when dad returns.
All but one have blown when the temps have been in the 0f to 30f range.
The pump also has been noisy since he has brought the pick-up home.
Would it bee a good idea to test the pressure from the pump?
Will have to make one up and that could be a little tough.
Nearest dealer is 400 air miles away and they are saying it is from our extreme weather.
Any hints welcome.
