A good analogy for the entire US auto industry............Ford pulling the whole weight, while GM and Dodge are just along for the ride while on guberment life support.

Well the reason they dont make comercials like that now is that the trucks are "too pretty" to go offroad.. So no one really uses trucks like they should be used anymore unless your in construction or something.. And even then they get base model trucks not like the FX4s or anything.. But it would be pretty bad *** to see a new ford comercial like these..... Thats just my opinon BTW no way based on any true facts..
My brother bought an 05 FX4 and I dont think its even touched mud.. Pisses me off
Of course, "real truckers" know toyota could make a commercial where the tundra pulls a Ford, GM, and Dodge truck up the side of a sheer cliff, then accelerates to 70mph in 10 sec. to avoid giant computer generated, swinging anvils then slam on the brakes and come to a stop in 100ft to avoid driving off the end of the CG ramp into the grand canyon, all while the driver sips his latte and texts on his cellphone while pulling that load.
