thats illegal! check local and state laws and if its still there and illegal, get'r dun!. otherwise my signifigant other had one on her jeep so when the dealer told her it was illegal, we went in and it was wired into the column. I cut that out and ran it over with my F-350....the module not the jeep.

It's only illegal if it's installed without your knowledge but.....if your credit rating is low, you will not get the loan without signing the disclosure...(below)

The maker of the devices stated "If the dealer won't disclose
the unit is on the car, then we won't do business with that dealer or his lender
or finance company." yah! right!
