I am wondering how hard or if it is possible to put a 5 speed tranny in my f250? I am going to be towing some of the time, but when I am not would like to be able to lower the rpms on the freeway. It has 4.10 gears.

if i were you...i would change gears
not bother with the tranny....
you have what...a dana 44 upfront and....a 10.5 out back so gears wouldn't be hard to find..
maybe do both.....with 410 gears the tranny won't help your mileage a whole bunch
