my 2003 f250 had a front liner in the rear wheel well. is this an option on 2010 ? maybe on king ranch? going to need somthing. or just get ones for 2003 looks like same bed. thanks.
My 04 had them and then I got 08 and didn't have them. Bought from dealer and installed. Rediculous how they leave things off to save a dime. Glove box lights, hood insulation, wheel well liners, door lights, list goes on and on. Save a few dollars per vehicle X million units= save millions of dollars.
My 2010 F350 PSD XLT CC SWB SRW has the liners in the rear wheels wells only and only on the back half of the wheel wells. This flexible material is 1/16" thick and flexs at -15* I found out. The dealer wants $20 for each side for the OEM ones.
I am attempting to find suitable material to install on the front half as I have an aux fuel line system coming from the rear passenger area to the bed mounted fuel tank and want to protect the fuel lines from road/tire damages from gravel roads, as these lines are in direct line with the rear tires and being subject to hit with gravel etc from the rear tires.
I've found the liners to be more of a nuisance than anything else. Heavy dirt/soil/mud gets back up under the bed and is harder to get out because the liner blocks a steam of water from washing the debris away.
A drive down a wet gravel road coats the underside of a truck even if it has a wheel well liner in my exterience. Conversely, several miles down a wet asphalt road a highway speeds tends to clean an undercarriage better than most automatic car washes. The liners, in my opinion, seem to reduce that effect while still "protecting" the heavier debris.
That's simply my observation on an older 80s Ford pickup that had the liners in front and back of the rear tires.
Thats what I meant. There are liners on the back but not the front. I live in snow country and they keep sand and mag cloride from totally coating everything under there and helps stop rusting.
