Transmission question
So this isn't really a truck related question,but I didn't know who else to ask. My friend has a car and she put a quart or oil in her transmission.So should she drain the transmission flush it out or what? She said it really smelled bad so I figure it was the oil burning off inside the transmission.Any suggestions would be great as I would assume you couldn't keep driving it the way it is.

take it from a certified transmission tech,drop the pan & drain the tranny & the torque (if it has a drain plug) & change the filter or clean the screen, fill it back up with new Mercon trans fluid,sometimes they call it Dextron/Mercon trans fluid,Gigger (if it's an old car you can put some Lucas transmission Fix in it too)
