Stock Springs?

ok looking at my 94 f-250 4x4 on the rear it looks like a pack of 4 springs a small spacer and then looks like 4 overload springs. Not all the springs sit straight so has there been springs added?

From my limited experience I would say yes. The f250's I have seen don't have the overloads and the one f350 I have seen did. The f350 I worked on was factory stock, but not sure if the overloads were standard or an option on the f350.

The 250 should have a pack of five leaves (the bottom one is thick and short, maybe 15" long), no overloads.

So yes, sounds like a good many leaves have been added.

Most of the 350 overloads were single spring leaves from the factory, and they were an option so not all of them have overloads.
They also had a five leaf main spring pack.

The exception was the cab and chassis 350, they all had overloads and more springs.

LOL if you stack enough springs to be a lift it will have no give to it.

Unless your truck is a lot higher than your avitar, I would say stock length will fit fine.

More springs don't normally raise your truck, they just slow down how fast it drops when you put a load on.

I am running two extra leaves in the main spring pack and five leave overloads.
The overloads did not affect the height at all since they sit on top of the regular springs and touch nothing untill you start loading the truck.

The two extra leaves in the main pack sit under the to leaf that attaches tot he frame.
So those two leaves did increase the height by about 3/4" or 1", the thickness of the two leaves plus the fact the springs did not flex as much with the weight of the empty truck sitting on them.

However adding a ton of weight used to drop the back trailer hitch several inches with the stock setup.
Now a ton drops the trailer hitch about 5/8" to 3/4" per ton.
