Light For Shift Pattern in Column
The light in the column of my 73 is burned out where the gear select is. I poped the top off the gear selector and didn't see any bulb anywhere. Do I have to remove the steering wheel to get to it or something? Sorry if this is a newb type question. I don't really need the light, I know the position of all the gears but it wuld be nice for the light to work anyway. Thanks.

Yes, the light is a part of the turn signal switch. D3TZ-13341-B
It uses the same twist in lamp base as the instrument cluster.
You need to remove the steering wheel to get at the bulb.
Bulb according to my book is, #161 but #194 will work. #161 is brighter.
