94, explorer power window problem
hi everybody. i have a 94, 4 door explorer. my rear windows go down with the rear power button but won't go back up unless i use the driver side up button. any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Mine had the same problem. I popped the switch out with a screwdriver and removed the two screws on the back side holding it to the little plate. Then you can very carefully pry the "guts" of the switch out of the housing. The contacts inside get dirt and corrosion. I cleaned them up by sanding with little strips of emory cloth and then blowing out with compressed air. Plug it in and try it before reassembling completetly, it may take a few tries to get it cleaned up enough. Worked great on my window switch and one of the power lock switches. Or you could just buy a new switch. I just happened to be bored at work that day.
