I have a '95 F250 4x4 w/ a 460... I don't know what the previous owner was thinking... Batt cabels are a mess....
Need new ones... Any suggestions???
I would really like to build my own... I need pictures, lengths, and guages... I am cheap, plus no one does as good as a job as yourself.. No pride anymore...
Are you really set on making your own? Because you can probably buy manufactured ones for the same price if not cheaper than making your own. I've never had to buy cables for my truck so I don't know if you'd need to special order them or not, but it doesn't hurt to look into it if that's something you want to consider.
I just looked up your bat cables on oreillyauto.com- I didn't know exact details for your truck but it looks like in stock cables run from $7-$10 each. They had other selections depending on what you want that were more expensive and/or special order.

wow that is really reasonable-even for that long-long ground cable?
No I looked that just a post and you have to splice... the motorcraft ones that match ar over 40.00.... Anyone got picks of the originial cables???? With measurements preferably... Haynes manual sucks for this..
Okay, so I didn't read the item descriptions very close. The $7-$10 cables are all negative. The positive cable is $12.50. Do they have O'Reilly stores in Maryland? If not, I'm sure your local parts store will be able to get them.
No I live in NH, never heard of them until you gave me the linq... Looking for exact fit, like motorcraft.... Figured I could build some with custom terminals if I have length and guages of wires and a good pic of the original...
