Forward Rear leaf spring hanger brackets

Hoping you guys could help me here.... I am changing a few things around on my 79 f150 when I noticed a problem... the brackets that mount the rear leaf springs to my frame have some serious rust mushrooming between the top and bottom rivets on each side of the bracket and each side of the truck....

the metal is flaking up massively between the two rivets... which is surprising because the rest of the frame has very little rust.... and I am wondering if anybody else has seen this on their truck....

Visual inspection of the area.... three things come together at that point.... an inner frame bracket that spaces the left rails apart, the frame rails and the forward spring mounting brackets.... leaves me to believe its the mounting brackets that are disintegrating and nothing else....

Before I grind away the tops of the rivets , punch the tail ends out and really get into this job... does anybody know if these brackets are reproduced?

i dont know if they are reproduced but if i remeber correctly they are 3 inch wide springs on the 150 if so i have a set.

If I remember right, my 79F150 has 2.5in. rear leaf springs. I replaced mine along with the crossmember that it bolts to. Mine were in really tough shape and bought some from Mike's Truck Salvage in S.C..

I have the same problem with the 78 F150 I have and am trying to find a source for the front brackets, LMC has the rear brackets but they do not show the fronts in their catalog.

I have 2.5" springs on mine too. I think LBG has beackets for the three inch springs. Any infor to mikes truck salvage?
