99 F-350 PSD Dead
My dad's 350's water pump went out. He replaced the wp and cam shaft sensor(incase it was damaged by the belt). When the repairs were done the truck would not start. The glowplug light on the dash wouldn't come on so we tested the glowplug relay. We had power but it would activate the glow plugs. We replaced the glowplug relay, no change. A local mech sugested the pcm may be out. He used a scan tool and could not get anything from the pcm. We replaced it still no power to the glowplugs. We checked all the wires and connections we could find. Does the new pcm need to be programed? I don't now what else to check. Help please.
