Newbie here...
Been looking around on here for a while, just wanted to take the time and say hi to all. My truck is an '86 2wd Lariat short box. Bought it for $700 and it came from the factory with an EFI 302 roller motor (which was pretty much blown). Since I've gotten hold to it I've yanked it out in favor of a 1974 351W bored 30 over, with a baby cam and 10.5:1 comp. It's got an 8.8 rear out of a newer I6 F150 that was geared with 3.73 limited slip. There's still a lot of things that need to be done on her. As of now though, I'm almost done replacing the rear gas tank with a new one, and also replaced the factory fuel line with new aluminum line all the way up. I look forward to talking with all yall....anyways, here are a few pics...

Welcome to the forum, Blue! There are lots of REALLY good, generous and knowledgeable people here who have worked with these trucks for a long time, so you're in the right place. Nice truck! Is that the original paint? Great color!

Thanks guys! I know it's been re-painted once since factory, and when they did they just sprayed the truck with the original color. I wasn't too sure about the color at first, but it's kinda growing on me, I still don't know though. I'll try and get some more pics up soon.
