Does this indicate water pump problem???
I remember reading on this forum that a leak from this little pipe indicates an impending Water Pump failure. I've searched and can't find that thread again. I changed the pump a year ago after it seized and installed an aftermarket pump that appeared to work great. I've only put 1300 miles on it since. Now it is starting to leak out if this little pipe when i start it up. Not alot, but enough to mess up the driveway. I got another new pump from the same parts store (identical to the one that's in there - reluctantly) that i intend to put in tomorrow and they say they'll give me my $$ back for the first one. Before I tear it apart again I was hoping someone could tell me for sure that a leak from that pipe means a bad pump. After tomorrow, i don't know when i'll have a chance to do this again. Thank you!

A leak from that pipe means your fuel bowl drain valve O-rings are leaking.

You need 2 #202 Viton O-rings and 1 #013 Viton oring to fix that or you can buy a kit or the whole valve assy. The orings and 1 hour will fix it for about $1.50 its not hard to do.

Well I'm glad I posted here before tearing out a perfectly good water pump! Just checked again and sure enough, whats coming out of that tube is diesel. There's a few drops of antifreeze on the lower Rad hose, and dangling from the steering arm that made me think everything wet down there was antifreeze. I'll have to get a little dirtier tomorrow to find out where that's coming from. In the meantime, looks like i'm doing some O-rings tomorrow. Thanks for the link to the Guzzle page. Looks great.

As for the coolant, check around your thermostat housing, if yours is stock, they rust and form leaks over time. Let us know if thats your problem because Dieselsite has a nice aluminum replacement.

I pulled those O-rings, thinking that I could get some from Ford and get rolling. They wanted to sell me a kit of 5 O-rings for the fuel filter bowl for about $85!!!! No thanks. I called Guzzle and the six dollar, better quality ones (apparently) are on the way. In the meantime, to get the truck out of the garage while the new O-rings make their way here (make be a while to cross border), Guzzle recommended just turning the old leaky O-rings around. Worked great. No leaks so far. Once i get 'em switched, I'll give it a wash and find where the few drops of antifreeze are coming from.

Fuel filter bowl fitting
new O-rings arrived here in BC, Canada in just 8 days, over New Years! I was prepared to wait much longer. Thank you Guzzle for shiping so fast. Installed them yesterday and they're working great. Thanks again folks for keeping me from replacing my water pump!!!!
When replacing the O-rings i noticed another deteriorating seal on a metal hose coming from the side of the fuel bowl, with a red marking on it. (see photo) The metal line itself is also quite loose, as opposed to the line next to it that is very secure. I'm reluctant to pull its fitting until i have the right parts. Will I be calling Guzzle bob again?? Any advice is appreciated, as always.

Looks like the fuel sleeve let go, degenerated. What I would do is order the Mechanics kit, for 58.00-66.00 US dollars you can't go wrong, everything is in the kit for the engine and fuel, no running around and waiting.. Bob and Clay sell those sleeves individually if you just wanted to go that route.
