Yes, they do. I put a T19 non-granny from an '95 F350 diesel into my '68 in place of the NP435, it was a straight bolt-in swap with the exception of having to change only the front u-joint on the driveshaft...though if you're going from an auto, you'll have more considerations than just that one thing to think about...
i think i have got a handle on the parts that i need for the swap.
i was just asking about the bellhousing since all i see advertised is fe bellhousing fits t18 or t 19 and toploaders.
i just want to make sure that wen i take the truck to the shop i have the parts that i need for it so i don't have to pay thier 300% mark up on them. and i have seen hydraulic clutches capable bellhousings for the fe but they only said toploader.
seems to be that mounting a clutch pedal on the floor where i want it to make room for my boots would be nice especially since i am not able to find the original set up for this swap. hell if i am gonna have to custom something in i will custom it to my specs if pratical right?
Don't why they'd specify T18 or T19 but not NP435, especially since that was the most common 4-speed used in our older trucks. But one thing Ford did was to use one common tranny bolt pattern for most 3 and 4-speeds, NP435, Toploader, T19 etc. I even have a bellhousing from a Dodge Cummins that's made for the Getrag 5-speed, but it uses that same common Ford pattern so my T19 will bolt right up to it.
Not that there's a whole lot of info here that will help you in this case, but perhaps you'll find this Domestic Truck Tranny Guide interesting:
