Headlight Question
New member here with a question. I have a 00 Ex. I just bought a pair of 05 headlights and a HID kit for 05 lights. I know this will not plug in b/c i need the harness to convert 9007 to H13. But can i cut the harness on the truck and hid kit ,and wire them together. Will this work?

With two hot leads and one ground there is the potential for a mix-up, but electrically speaking there is no problem with what you are trying to do. Just don't blind me with your HIDs.

FWIW, I have HIDs in my 05 and it was a plug and play install. I don't know if they changed stuff from 00 to 05. As for the alignment, it's perfect. I never get oncoming cars flash me. (although a good looking girl flashing me would be OK) :-)
