ticking noise
I sealed up my exauhst system today and now I can hear a ticking noise in my 390.Its not too loud but I cant hear it when I am under the hood, it seems to come from the bottom somewhere. What should I look at?

Sounds like the infamous FE hammer at work, not to worry it will get louder, and it will hammer for a long time "years" or until you rebuild the engine and replace the wrist pins.

ticking noise
Get a rubber hose. No don't whip that tired FE. Shove one end 1 3/4" into your ear, take the other end and move it all over your running engine and exhaust to listen for that anoying ticking. Maybe you only thought that you fixed the exhaust. If all else fails, then whip it with the rubber hose, and run it until it breaks, whick could be a long time.
