Check engine light....
Well I just hite 48,298 miles on my 97 Expy and the check engine light came on. I suspected O2 sensor but couldn't get it checked out until today. I let the Expy sit all weekend and when I started it up today the light was gone.. So I went to AutoZone anyhow and they checked it. P0153 Something about O2 bank 2 slow to test etc. etc. etc. AZ wanted $50 bones each!!!!!
How long can I go before I need to change the O2 sensors?thanks

Check engine light....
Seeing that they are supposed to by a 100K mile part, I'd say around 52,000 more miles.....or when your truck starts running poorly, emissions increase and mileage decreases, whichever happens first.
