2009 has been a tough year all around, lay-offs, horrible economy, illnesses, deaths in families. I do not think there has been one member of us regular chapter guys that has not been touched........ Here we get to vent those troubles, and get some good answers from good friends. .........Yeah, its been a rough year, I had to have a beloved old dog put down on Christmas day. Just seems to be par for the course for 2009......It can't get over soon enough for me.
Here is hoping 2010 brings a early spring, health, jobs, and better fortune than 2009, maybe a westside GTG, a state GTG.
To everyone in the chapter, have a great New Year!
And feel free to post your thoughts on this passing year, and your hopes for 2010!
The phrase ...and HAPPY NEW YEAR!, has been bouncing around in my head for a month. There were certainly some memorable high points in '09, but '10 should be an easy improvement.
I am with you guys there. '08 and '09 have been tough years financially. Starting a new year/new decade with a new job in a new town. Let's hope that '10 will see a better economy and easier life for us all!
