Another coolant change question
I have read alot about how to change my coolant, use distilled water, multiple flushes, etc. What I want to know is if I install one of those Tee's in the heater hose and do a back flush with a garden hose before I do the distilled water flush will that be of any extra benefit? Since the back flush goes in the opposite direction wont it knock some more of the contaminants loose from the system. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thermostat is $25 or so... what is the problem changing it as a matter of course?
If I were you, I would buy it at the International dealer... then.. TEST it by boiling it and verifying temperature it opens.
Then install it.
