Iridium Spark Plugs?

Some friend of mine has them on his Land Cruiser FJ70 and he says they gave him some gains (mostly on the throttle). And as my own sparks are about to need replacement i thought i might give them a try, any thoughts? opinions? stories?.

P.S.: Does anyone have the number of the spark the Bronco 5.0 would use? (both Denso and NGK).

P.S.2: I hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Everytime I ask someone a question like this they say just stick with autolites! I was wondering the same thing. My truck had Bosch plugs in it before. I changed them and felt no difference. But ya never know! Maybe they do work better!!!

I have Bosch also because they are the shortest plugs. It helps when you are running shorty headers. I knotised no benifit in proformance, just easier to route the plug wires. Dont bother with the four prong plugs. Been there, done that, wasted money. I would like to hear if the iridium's do you any good.

Spark plugs

I have Motorcraft copper but will try NGK V-Groove next time. I have heard they are less likely to develop carbon tracking. I continue to chase the rough running at very light throttle, 1700 rpm 30 something miles per hour.
