Hey, I was faced with the same thing a year ago. I replaced myself all the U joints including the double cardon joint. after putting some time and money into it, It still wobbled so bad I couldn't leave my hubs locked in. I had a repair shop give a quote to replace a damaged part on it. at the slip joint the spline shaft was getting bad. It was cheaper for me to buy a new one at Advance Auto than to rebuild the old. It was a lot of money,(over $300) but it is lifetime warranty and it completely fixed my problem.
Thanks for the info.... I was considering a new one. Theres an Advanced here in town... I'll check on one.
