99 F250 LD Fwd w/ 5.4
I'm trying to diagnose my TPS . I have a Chilton repair manual that
say's the closed throttle # should be .5 to 1.0 volts and the open
should be 4.5 to 5.0 volts. Mine is 3.5 closed and goes to .1 open.
Just the opposite. What's up with that? Is the book wrong or is the TPS bad?
Are you sure it's the correct sensor for your truck? Sounds like it is one for a throttle body that rotates the opposite direction or it's installed wrong.
