1999 SD running bad
hello my SD 5.4l f250 is running bad, i recently hooked it up to a computer it gave me a p0743 code i looked it up and its a torque converter electrical circuit, i thought it might be the tcc solenoid i replaced it,"ouch" i put 7 quarts of tranny fluid back into it i dont think its topped off it looks like it could use maybe 2 more quarts, i drove it around to see if it would run better if i fixed the problem, it runs like its not firing on all 8 cylinders, ill coast around 35-45 mph i can feel it hesitating or puttering like its a wiring issue like the connection to the plugs are not good, after that issue i went to park in my drive way and it makes some wierd noises and stalls, i restart it by pulling upward on the shifter and turning the key the only way it will start othewise it will pop up battery signs and act like the battery cable connection is bad, once it is running it purrs when i put it back into drive it stalls??? my question is do you guys think its a coil or wiring issue to the plugs? or do you think its still an electrical issue to the transmission? could it be my shifter cable? thank you guys for any info it is greatly appreciated.
