RS9000 Shocks
My 79 F150 4x4 chassis dosent like shocks! Ive put 3 sets of shocks on this truck and none seem to do the job. It has 2" lift coils on the front. When I installed the coils, I compared them with the OE coils. They were nearly the same heighth, so the lift is from stiffer coils. I thought about trying Rancho RS9000 adjustables, but hate spending the money without some testimonials. Anyone use them? Are they worth the money? Is the in cab adjusters worth using? Please help, my truck rides like a brick rolling down hill! Ive even concidered dual shocks.

RS9000 Shocks
A buddy of mine has them on his 79 F150 4x4 and they are a pretty stiff ride. HE is running 35x12.5x15 BFG MT's on a ste of 12 inch wide rims. I found the ride to be really stiff. I talked to him and he suggested the RS 5000's and I have them installed on my truck. The ride is alot smoother from his truck to mine. I have the same drive train as his. I am running the 33x12.5x15 BFG MT's on a set of 8 inch wide rims. I have found that the skinny rim gives me a little more bounce in my tires that help absorb some of the stiff ride. Hope this helps.
