manual hub conversion help

Just got the conversion for my Mile Marker hubs in today, so I can put my hubs back on wewt.

Problem is, there are no directions in it. It's a dana 50, has the 3 washers with the clip that holds it all together. The kit came with 2 locknuts for each side and 1 washer for each side with a bunch of holes in it.

Question is, how is all of this oriented and what do I need to reuse?

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...onversion.html Might be worth reading through this. Don`t know if it will help.

It didn't help much but I decided to check out Warn's installation instructions on the website. Seems as though the parts are all the same. I get how the wheelnuts and that lockring sandwiches in between them now, but I'm still unsure if I'm supposed to put the three washers back in with the snap ring over them.

The snap ring goes where to groove is in the stub shaft. should be on the outside but this is a conversion so it could go either way I guess. My 60's auto hubs have to groove in a different spot than my manual hub shafts

Thanks for the help guys. I just played with it until I figured it out.

The first nut is the adjustment nut. It's the one with the little pin on it. It goes on first, then the washer.
The washer has a tab on the inside of the ring and it goes on top, in the notch in the spindle.
Then the second nut goes on, tightened down to 160-205 ft lbs.
Then the hub body slides in, with the big lock ring locking it in.
Then the little snap ring goes over the end of the axle shaft on the outer notch in it.
After that, the cap goes on. Make sure the cap is in "Free" and the metal tabs inside go so they have no tension on them.
Put the screws in, put it in "Lock" and ensure it locks, then put it in "Free" and make sure it disengages. You'll hear it lock and unlock; just grab the hub and spin it in lock, if it's locked, it'll spin the axle shafts.
Done and done.
