Door Handle Broken..

Hello,

Just bought a 1995 F250 XLT 4wd... The door will not open from the inside??? People say it is common, what do I need to order to fix it? Does open from the outside.

Take off the door panel.On mine the sheetmetal where the handle mounted was cracked and bent up.I ended up tapping the metal down flat and making a piece of sheetmetal to remount the handle to.I pop riveted it on.Screws might strip out due to pulling the handle to get in and out.Hope this helps.Frankbank

Probably a tear in the metal where the inside handle bolts on. See this link

My 93 is the same way. i replaced the handle twice with factory handles and they both broke. I then made a metal one and it ended up braking at the weld. turned out to be the cable that goes fom the inside handle to the latch. I replaced that and bought another handle off ebay and all is good now.
