GPR question
I hadn't stated my truck in awhile and the batteries were to low to start. So i used a couple of jumper boxs. Turned over slow wouldn't start. Got a truck to jump off of and she finally started after a dozen times. Now the check engine light comes on. I figure it was from the jump so i disconnect the negatives on both batteries. Light turns off. Drive for 15 miles, jump in the truck to start and the light comes back on. Took it to my mechanic friend who said he saw four codes and believed that it was probably the glow plug relays. I said i would have to wait till after the holidays to replace. THe strange thing is that i got into the truck after talking awhile ago and the light is off and hasn't come back. What does this mean?

You computer will set codes if it sees a problem, I believe it is three times. Then if it cycles, if I remember correctly, three warm up cycles with out a problem it will errase the code. Unless it is a "hard" fault.
